WICHITA, Kan _ Two ranked teams, two upsets for the University of Central Arkansas Bears.
The
Bears beat their second Top 10 opponent of the season in as many
attempts Tuesday night, knocking off the tenth-ranked Wichita State
Shockers 10-9 at Eck Stadium.
Junior reliever Matt
Humphrey worked out of tight spots in the eighth and ninth innings as
the Bears (23-24) won for the fifth time in their last six games.
Humphrey also got the victory in UCA's 4-3 upset of No. 8 Ole Miss back
in March. The UA-Fort Smith transfer struck out four and coaxed a
bases-loaded, ground-ball out to end it Tuesday.
