CONWAY, Ark. _ Want a chance to run and play on “The Coolest Field in College Football?”

Come out to First Security Field at Estes Stadium on at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 for the Open House, where the new turf will be featured, along with the Bears’ new Nike uniforms. An official ribbon cutting ceremony by the Conway Chamber of Commerce will take place at 6:45, followed by remarks by UCA Athletic Director Dr. Brad Teague and head football coach Clint Conque.

The new Nike uniforms will debut, along with the 2011 ticket design. JJ’s Grill and Chill, the host site for the Clint Conque Call-In Show, will give away free appetizers to the first 300 fans in attendance, while free “Fear the Stripes” T-shirts will also be available to the first 300 fans. Conque will also introduce his coaching staff and the 2011 senior class.

On-field photos and interaction with the UCA coaches and players will available after the formal program. Kids’ 40-yard dash contests for prizes will also be held. For more information, call 450-3150.
