LITTLE ROCK, Ark. _ University of Central Arkansas junior Brigette Caruthers won the Little Rock Invitational on Saturday at Rebsamen Golf Course, while the UCA men won their division of the meet.

   Caruthers finished the 5K course in a time of 18:13.7, more than 29 seconds in front of second place. Sophomore Taylor Dunn finished fourth in 18:59.3, followed by sophomore Sara Shaw in sixth (19:26.9), junior Abigail Topham in 10th (19:38.2), freshman Kaylee Stewart in 13th (19:49.9), and Abbey Foreman in 14th (19:52.0). Junior Layne Sargeson finished 16th (20:05.8), sophomore Skylar Lange was 17th (20:11.6), junior Addy Swaim was 19th (20:22.8), sophomore Caroline Daniels was 33rd (21:37.9) and sophomore Emily Phillips.Â
   Arkansas State took the women's team title, followed by UCA, Arkansas Tech, Little Rock, Henderson State, Arkansas-Monticello  and Central Baptist.
   On the men's side, sophomore Markus Schweikert finished second overall, covering the 8K course in 25:21.9. Freshman Bill Kemboi finished fourth in 25:35.1, while sophomore Brock Collins was seventh (25:51.4), sophomore Brant Cook was ninth (26:06.4), sophomore Alonzo Pollum was 10th (26:08.6), senior Grant Williams was 13th (26:22.2) and freshman Jaron Hamilton was 14th (26:28.8). Junior Preston Borg finished 16th (26:58.8), freshman Ian Smith was 17th (27:10.1), senior Andrew Simpson was 21st (27:31.5) and sophomore Woodrow Murray ws 23rd (27:57.8).
   UCA won the meet by seven points over Little Rock, with Arkansas State, Ecclesia College, Arkansas-Monticello and Central Baptist rounding out the field.
