PAUMA VALLEY, Calif - The University of Central Arkansas men's golf team sits in ninth place after two rounds at the University of San Francisco's Triumph at Pauma Valley on Monday. The Bears shot a 305-292=597 on the par 71 Pauma Valley Course.
Loyola Marymount leads the field with a 569. They are followed by British Columbia (578), San Francisco (582), San Francisco 2 (583), Hartford (586), Long Beach State (589), Campbell (593), Portland (594), UCA (597), Idaho (605), Gonzaga (609) and Weber State (610).
LMU's John Lin is the leader with a two-round score of 137. Freshman Josh Sims leads UCA with a 77-69-146, tying for 11th place. Sophomore Steven Lecuyer is tied for 26th at 75-73=148. Freshmen Antonio Costa (76-76=152) and Chris Cooke (78-74=152) are tied for 43rd place and freshman DK Kim is tied for 54th at 77-78=155.
The Bears will finish the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday.
