TAILGATING
At every home game Moe's Southwest Grill will be sponsoring a tailgate contest. The judging will be based on originality, school spirit and themes. All tailgaters will automatically be entered. The judging will begin one hour into the official start of weekly tailgating.
Each week's winners will receive free catering from Moe's at their next tailgate for up to 20 people ($200 value). Their tailgate will be featured on the new videoboard at Estes Stadium.
NEW FOOTBALL PROMOTIONS FOR 2011
Moe's Southwest Grill "Moement of the Game" : Anytime the Bears Special Teams score a TD this season, EVERYONE in attendance wins a free coupon for queso & chips from Moe's Southwest Grill.
Kona Ice "Kona-Kid" of the game : Kids Club members will be randomly featured throughout the game as a Kona-Kid while enjoying their Kona Shaved Ice, featuring the newly created flavor Bear Crush!
Twitter Fan Promotion: #UCAPOTG is the "hash-tag" to remember... Fans can tweet their choice for UCA Player Of The Game during the 2nd half... The top tweeted player will be name #UCAPOTG
501 Life Family of the Game : Randomly selected families will be photographed and then featured on the video board as the 501 Life Family of the Game.
103.7 FM The Buzz Fan of the Game: Most spirited UCA Fans will be featured throughout the game on the videoboard!

Sept. 1- "Purple Valley Party - Go PURPLE or go home!"
Activities: Bear Den Pep-Rally, Tailgate, and Paint Station at 6 pm on Bruce St. Come to the game wearing all purple, so we can color the Student Section totally purple! Wear purple shirts, hats etc! At halftime, the fan wearing the most outrageous purple, win’s a $50 gift card to the UCA bookstore to go buy even MORE purple!!!
Sept. 24 at Arkansas State- "Purple Craze"
Activities: Bear Den roadies will leave campus together and begin tailgating and a paint station for FREE at ASU! FREE Purple car flags will be passed out to all travelers! Hitch a ride and follow us to Jonesboro to beat an in-state rival and show them how CRAZY UCA is! Wear crazy purple! Specific times TBA.
Oct. 1- "Surf/Beach Party"
Activities: BD Tailgate and FREE purple visors and lei’s. At halftime the Student Section will release hundreds of purple beach balls for a beach party in the Student Section! Come to the game dressed in your purple swimsuits or beach gear! Best dressed gets a $50 giftcard to Chili’s.
Oct. 15- "80's Party"
Activities: BD Tailgate and FREE purple sunglasses, slap bracelets, and fanny packs! At halftime the Student Section will hold a “Who’s wearing the most NEON Contest.” Come to the game with your side ponytails, big earrings and neon shorts and try to win a $50 giftcard to Za Za’s Pizza!
Oct. 29- "Toga Party"
Activities: Banner judging before the game. Come make your own Purple Toga at the Bear Den Tailgate. Homecoming Coronation and Crowning at halftime on the field. During thir quarter the Student Section will hold a “Best Purple Toga” competition. Winner gets a $50 giftcard to Blackwood’s Greek Restaurant.
Nov. 12- "Holiday Party"
Activities: BD Tailgate and FREE purple santa hats, bunny ears, and shamrock visors. At halftime the Student Section will hold an Easter Egg surprise and a “Best Holiday Costume Contest.” Winner gets a $50 giftcard to The Holiday Store downtown! Dress up like you’re celebrating your favorite holiday!
