Conway, Ark.- The Women's Golf team traveled to Lawrence, Kansas for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational on October 6 and 7 at the Lawrence Country Club. The Bears played two rounds on the 6
th and 1 round on the 7
th for the three round, stoke play event. The Bears finished in 9
th place, 9 strokes ahead of the 10th place finisher, Arkansas State. For the tournament the Bears made 18 birdies and 157 Pars.
Alethea Paige Gaccion led the Bears shooting +12 and finishing in 24
th place. Round 1: +1, Round 2: +5, Round 3: +6.
Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir shot +17 and finished in 40
th place. Round 1: +5, Round 2: +4, Round 3: +8.
Maggie Huett shot +19 and finished in 48
th place. Round 1: Even, Round 2: +9, Round 3: +10.
Emma Leroy Fabry shot +21 and finished in 55
th place. Round 1: +10, Round 2: +3, Round 3: +8.
Aubrey Marx shot +30 and finished in 70
th place. Round 1: +14, Round 2: +4, Round 3: +12.
