Curtis Kellogg

Curtis Kellogg enters his first season at UCA in 2021-22 after spending the last two seasons as the hitting
and catching coach at Arkansas Tech University.

During the 2021 season, Arkansas Tech produced one of the best offenses in the country, and
one of the best offenses in conference history, hitting .345 as a team in conference play, en
route to winning the Great American Conference Championship.

Within the 2021 conference championship lineup at Tech, Kellogg coached one All-American,
two All-Region, and four All-Conference hitters, as well as a Gold Glove winning catcher and
nine different Great American Conference Players of the Week.

Prior to Kellogg’s time at Arkansas Tech, he spent the 2017-2018 seasons as a hitting analyst for
the Seattle Mariners, working with the High A affiliate Modesto Nuts; a year in which they won
the California League Championship. While with the Nuts, Kellogg worked with 11 different
players who either made stops or are currently in the big leagues including 2020 American
League Rookie of the Year, Kyle Lewis. The Nuts offense also ended their 2017 championship
season with 5 of the league’s top 20 hitters, as well as the league leader in doubles.

Kellogg was born and raised in Sonora, a small town in Northern California, and spent his
playing career at California State University, Stanislaus, and Merced College; where he was an
all-conference infielder and Gold Glove recipient.
